The General overseer and senior pastor of Light Impact church Ibadan, Rev Taiwo Bello has called on Christians in the country to engage Nigeria in their daily prayers.
Rev. Taiwo who was very sympathetic about the recent happenings in the country as a result of the protest, but regretted the loss of lives and properties in the Nation.
He noted that it is the Lord that’s in charge of the activities of Nigeria, therefore Christians should continue praying for the survival of the Nation.
Rev Bello, reading from the scripture in Matthew 5:12 and Isaiah 62:1 reminded the people that the Bible has not permitted anyone to wage war or course their leaders except to pray for them always, hence Christians need to be careful in the ways and manners they talk about leaders in the country.
He appealed to believers of Christ, that, this is the best time to engulf in serious prayers, pray for the church, pray for political leaders in respective regions and pray for the Nation at large.
