Road users and commuters may experience challenges plying from service lane inbound Maryland from the end of Gani Fawehinmi Park to the end of the 2nd pedestrian bridge, Ojota Maryland.
This is as a result of closure which the Lagos State Government through its commissioner for transportation Dr. Frederick Oladeinde announced to take effect from Tuesday, November 17th.
According to Mr. Oladeinde, the closure will last for a period of 6weeks so as to enable the contractors working on that road to move to another phase of their construction.
The government thereby pleads with those coming inward Ojota Bus stop/Maryland from the Ibadan-Lagos Expressway to either proceed to Oworonshoki/Gbagada or descend the loop by Abiola Garden to connect Ikorodu road (inbound Ketu).
The same applies to vehicles coming through Ikeja, should use the 7 up axis, pending when the construction will be completed.
