The organization of African Instituted Churches Oyo State Chapter has indicated new state officers.
The induction ceremony which took place on Wednesday 16th June 2021 at Jah Jehovah Jireh Church located at No 1 Agbojesu conference w/w Challenge Ibadan feature His Grace, Elder AP. Adeaga Chaiman of OAIC south West Zone as the guest minister.
Inducting the newly installed state officers the guest minister Elder Adeaga said every leader must understand him or herself first before aspiring the thought of leading others.
He said there is need to understand the people that are following you as their leader, Know who they are and exhibit your talents according to the will of God and ensure to work and carry everyone along.
Taking his message from 2 Corinthians 4:1-5 His Grace Elder AP Adeaga made it known that it necessary for a good leader to possess good a godly quality and Character that will attract the team he is leading to follow him and by so doing they work in unity and achieve their purpose. He prayed for a successful administration and the unction to function effectively in their areas of assignment.
Also speaking the state Chairman Christian Association of Nigeria Apostle Joshua Akinyemiju congratulated the newly inducted state officers for standing worthy and credible to stand elected by the people and are officially inducted to start showcasing their talent in service to God and man.
Apostle Akinyemiju assured that CAN will not fail to give them full supports wherever it is necessary, but urge them to work in accordance with CAN guidelines and make sure they work with CAN in their activities.
He called on other factional religious groups who are not registered neither recognize by CAN to either come in and identify with OAIC or repent from factionalism which according to him such habits does not help the body of Christ to unit.
In his response the newly installed and inducted state Chairman of OAIC Oyo State, Most snr Apostle Reuben Oluwashina Odigie expressed great delight for the supports and encouragement of his spiritual father’s for their unflinching supports and various denominations for finding him acceptable to pilots the affairs of the religious organization in the state.
He said his administration will enhance togetherness, working in partnership with other recognize groups under Christian Association of Nigeria to promotes peace and unity in the christiandom
He made it known that the organization of African Instituted Churches started in Oyo State but regretted that till now there is not Secretariat complex for the organization and assure that his regime will work hard to make sure they provide a office space for the organization.
He plea members of the state executive council to put all hands on desk and deliver in their areas of responsibility that they have been assigned to in other to take the organization to a greater dimension.
