Former Aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode who officially joined the All Progressives Congress, (APC), on Thursday in Abuja, has disclosed how he worked behind the scene to influence three PDP Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) governors to join APC party, the Guardian reports
Fani-Kayode made the declaration at the State House after he was led to the Presidential Villa, to be officially presented to President Muhammadu Buhari as a member of the APC.
The former spokesman of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council was introduced to the president by the Governor of Yobe state and Chairman of the APC national caretaker committee, Mai Mala Buni who was accompanied by his Zamfara state counterpart, Bello Matawalle.
Fani-Kayode, who explained that he had been a founding member of the APC, said he returned to the APC for the unity and togetherness of the country.
He further hinted that he was also working behind the scene to woo the governors of Oyo, Bauchi and Enugu states, Seyi Makinde, Bala Mohammed and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi respectively, to also relinquish their current parties and join the ruling APC.(Culled From Guardian)
