Following the claims that the All Progressives Congress, (APC), presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu was rushed off the stage at his campaign rally in Minna, Niger State, he has broken his silence and denied such ever happened.
Tinubu explained that the crowd that welcomed him was so massive that he had to address them briefly before attending other meetings in the state.
The APC flag bearer dismissed rumours that he hurriedly left the campaign stage due to his health condition.
He said the crowd at the rally was unprecedented.
Speaking through his Director of Media and Publicity, of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council, Bayo Onanuga, he said, the presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, was not rushed off the stage due to health concerns at his rally in Minna, the Niger State capital.
According to Onanuga, the crowd that turned up to welcome Tinubu at the rally was ⁶u cut it short to attend to other programmes of the day.
The statement by Onanuga partly reads, “A massive crowd of APC supporters welcomed the presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to Minna on Wednesday, as he arrived for the mega rally.
“The cheering crowd was unprecedented, according to journalists at the Trade Fair Complex, venue of the rally.
“Tinubu, who held another successful rally in Kaduna on Tuesday, arrived in Minna in the evening of the same day for a series of meetings with APC leaders.”
Lately, Tinubu’s health status has been questioned by some political stakeholders.
They noted that Tinubu might not be able to function as Nigeria’s president due to his alleged failing health.
