The Olubadan of Ibadanland, His imperial majesty Oba Sen. Dr. Lekan Ali Balogun recently installed chief Omotosho Ayobami Binuyo Iyiola as the new mogaji of Agbo ile ladunni.
The monarch after the installation of chief Omotosho Iyiola and others charge the installation of the new community leaders held at the main hall of Aliiwo Ruling House, Agodi, Ibadan, which had in attendance members of the Olubadan-in-Council and other stakeholders in Ibadan traditional institutions.
He urge the newly-installed Mogajis and Baales in Ibadanland to ensure security in their respective domains through peaceful co-existence of all the residents and prompt report of any breach of the peace to appropriate quarters.
Oba Balogun, told the newly-installed chiefs that they were coming on board at the very critical period in the life of the country in general and Ibadanland in particular as far as security challenges are concerned.
The monarch, who commended the security agents for the peaceful conduct of the installation exercise and urged them to keep up the good work, said that his reign would ensure fairness, equity and justice in the installation of Mogajis and Baales.

The newly appointed mogaji chief Omotosho, who arrived his ancestral home at exactly 3:15 pm on a long street floot jubilation by his community people was received by his kinsmen on arrival.
Interacting with Newsieevents, the new community leader Chief Omotosho Binuyo assured the people of his constituency that he would continue to serve them till the last minute of the administration, irrespective of odds circumstances.
Chief Omotosho who is the incumbent state chairman of Oyo State herbal practitioners noted that the responsibilities of handling the affairs of the community were enormous. He appreciated the people of the agbo ile ladunni for the confidence reposed in him and people of the area for their unflinching co-operation.
He said ” I was born and bred here in this community and I am a member of this family, my appointment today as the mogaji of agbo has strongly reunite the people, keeping hope alive for my family and created bond and sinergy scenery between us and our forebearers
Because of the nature of my job I did not want to accept this position, but the people keep pressurising me and I see the reason I should accept the responsibility”

He commended the Olubadan of Ibadanland and the entire traditional ruler Council of Ibadanland for finding him worthy to be entrusted with an appointment letter to watch the agbo ile ladunni Community and assure to make proper use of the responsibility bestowed on him by the Royal fathers.
