Abia nurses praise Gov. Otti over extension of retirement age.

Nurses in Abia State have expressed their support for the state government’s decision to increase their retirement age from 60 to 65 years.

Governor Alex Otti announced this change as part of efforts to improve the health sector. Nurses believe this extension will help retain experienced professionals and improve patient care.

Some have also called for corresponding increases in salaries and allowances to further enhance job satisfaction and reduce the trend of nurses leaving for better opportunities abroad.
