Imo State Commissioner of Police, CP Aboki Danjuma, recently decorated 146 officers promoted to Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP). During the ceremony, CP Danjuma emphasized that promotion enhances productivity and comes with increased responsibilities.
He urged the new ASPs to demonstrate greater wisdom, professionalism, and adherence to the principles of discipline, transparency, and accountability in their duties.
ASP Victoria Nwoke, speaking on behalf of the promoted officers, expressed gratitude to CP Danjuma, the Inspector-General of Police IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, and the Police Service Commission for their support and for recognizing their efforts. She assured that the officers would uphold their new responsibilities with dedication.
