John Cardinal Onaiyekan, Emeritus Archbishop of the Catholic Archdiocese of Abuja, has clarified that the EndBadGovernance protesters were not aiming to end President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
Instead, their goal was to address issues of poor governance in Nigeria. Speaking at an event organized by the Christian Youth for Peace and Development Initiative, Onaiyekan emphasized that the protesters were advocating for improved governance and management of the country.
He expressed understanding for the youths’ impatience and highlighted that their activism reflects a desire for better leadership and accountability.
