President Bola Tinubu has pledged significant investment in the Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria (DICON) to enhance its capabilities before 2030.
Speaking at DICON’s 60th anniversary and the inaugural African Defence Industries Conference, Tinubu, represented by Secretary to the Government of the Federation Sen. George Akume, emphasized national security as a top priority.
The recent signing of the DICON Act 2023 signifies a new phase for DICON, positioning it as a central element in Nigeria’s Military Industrial Complex.
The DICON Evolution Strategy and Road Map 2030 aims to close performance gaps and elevate DICON to a global stature, aligning with the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
