Group seek justice in zamfara over the killing of Magaji Lawal by member of community protection guard.

The Organization for Concern of Less Privileged and Displaced Citizens in Zamfara State has called for justice for Magaji Lawal, who was allegedly killed by members of the State Community Protection Guard (CPG). The group has pledged to monitor the case closely to ensure justice is served.

According to their chairman, Mallam Mustapha Ibrahim, the group supports the State Commissioner of Police Muhammad Dalinja’s commitment to investigating the incident thoroughly. The Commissioner revealed that while CPG members have denied responsibility for Lawal’s death, claiming former CPG Commander Col. Rabiu Yandoto (rtd) was involved, Col. Yandoto is a key suspect in the case. Yandoto, who was recently dismissed from his post, is under investigation for his alleged role in the murder.

The group commended the Commissioner for his impartial approach and urged continued investigation into similar cases. They also praised the Zamfara State government for removing Col. Yandoto from his position and called for justice for Lawal and others affected by such violence.
