IPOB accuse Igbo elders accepting payment from those they accuse terrorist.

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has accused some traditional rulers in the Southeast of accepting payments from individuals they claim are terrorists disguised as herders. According to IPOB, these rulers allow such individuals to operate freely in their communities in exchange for money.

The group’s spokesperson, Emma Powerful, issued a stern warning to these traditional rulers, emphasizing that IPOB and its security arm, the Eastern Security Network (ESN), will not tolerate this alleged collaboration.

IPOB has also criticized some state governors, suggesting they might be involved in similar activities. They warn that any traditional ruler or community leader who engages in these practices will face severe consequences, including potential violence from IPOB and ESN. The group claims to be actively monitoring traditional leaders and is committed to safeguarding their vision for the region.
