Gov. Abiodun of Ogun state express sadness over the untimely death of INEC resident commissioner.

Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has expressed his deep condolences following the death of Barrister Olaniyi Ijalaye, the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Ogun State. Ijalaye passed away on Monday evening in Abuja after a meeting at INEC headquarters.

In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Lekan Adeniran, Governor Abiodun described Ijalaye as an honest, committed, and highly principled public servant. He conveyed his sympathy to Ijalaye’s family, INEC, and the people of Ondo State, acknowledging Ijalaye’s significant contributions to public service and expressing hope that his soul finds peace.
