Omoyele Sowore, former presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), has criticized President Bola Tinubu for reportedly purchasing a private jet and a bulletproof car within one year of taking office, while neglecting the economic struggles of Nigerians.
Sowore claims that Nigerian leaders prioritize personal luxuries over addressing public hardships, highlighting the contradiction between the President’s actions and his promises of improving citizens’ lives.
This criticism coincides with ongoing protests against poor governance and economic conditions in Nigeria, as well as a legal dispute involving the Nigerian government and a Chinese company over the seizure of government jets.
