Kano state launch panel for the investigation of an alledge multi-billion naria drugs purchase.

The Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-corruption Commission has launched an investigation into an alleged multi-billion-naira drug purchase contract scam affecting 44 local government areas.

Chairman Muhuyi Rimin-Gado announced the probe and emphasized that the commission would thoroughly investigate and prosecute anyone involved, regardless of their position.

Additionally, the commission is looking into claims of palliative diversion by Shehu Sagagi, the Chief of Staff to Governor Abba Yusuf.

However, Governor Yusuf, through his representatives, has denied knowledge of the drug contract and has called for the investigation to proceed and report findings.
