Senator Shehu Sani has expressed his concerns over the allegations of terrorism financing against Joe Ajaero, the President of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC).
In a statement posted on X, Sani called the accusations “strange and unfortunate.” This comes after the Nigeria Police invited Ajaero for questioning regarding serious charges including terrorism financing, treasonable felony, and cybercrime.
The invitation, dated August 19, 2024, warns that a warrant for Ajaero’s arrest could be issued if he fails to appear for interrogation.
