Apc internal crisis in Benue state deepens.

Daniel Onjeh accused Austin Agada of sabotaging his election allegedly supporting the opposition PDP candidate, Senator Abba Moro.

In recent developments within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State, Comrade Daniel Onjeh, who ran for the Benue South Senatorial seat in 2023, has expressed relief over the removal of Austin Agada as the state chairman.

Onjeh had accused Agada of sabotaging his election by allegedly supporting the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Senator Abba Moro. This led Onjeh to petition the APC’s National Working Committee, prompting Agada’s suspension by the state governor, Hyacinth Alia, and the appointment of Hon. Benjamin Omale as acting chairman.

Despite Agada’s resistance, backed by Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, the APC’s national leadership, under Abdullahi Ganduje, has now formally removed Agada and established a seven-member caretaker committee led by Omale. Onjeh welcomed this decision, noting that while justice was delayed, it was ultimately served.
