Simon Ekpa, leader of the Biafra Republic Government In-Exile, has rejected the Nigerian Police Force’s claim that they killed 27 alleged criminals, including his supporters, in Enugu State. According to Ekpa, these individuals were innocent Biafrans rather than his supporters.
He accused the Enugu State government of using propaganda to justify its actions and criticized the Nigerian state for failing to uphold human dignity.
Ekpa also alleged that police in Abia State mistakenly fired on each other, thinking they were targeting Biafra fighters.
