The wedding of Hafsat Atiku Abubakar, daughter of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, and the son of former Minister of Education Adamu Adamu was a notable event attended by various dignitaries.
Among those present were APC National Chairman Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, his rival Musa Kwankwaso, former Head of State Abdulsalami Abubakar, and several former governors including Sule Lamido, Murtala Nyako, Ali Modu Sheriff, Ibrahim Shekarau, and Adamu Muazu.
The ceremony also saw the participation of Col Buba Marwa, Senator Abdul Ningi, and the acting PDP National Chairman Ambassador Iliya Damagum. The previous day, Atiku hosted the family of Kashim Imam, led by former Kaduna State Governor Nasiru El-Rufai, to formally seek the hand of his daughter in marriage.
