Simon Ekpa, leader of the Biafra Government in Exile, has responded to the Nigerian government’s move to seek his extradition from Finland by inviting Nigerian officials to the Biafra Convention in Lahti, Finland.
Ekpa’s statement, made on his official X handle, suggests that the Nigerian government’s actions validate the Biafra Government in Exile’s claims. He has extended invitations to Major General Edward Buba and Nigerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar, to attend the convention and participate in discussions about Biafra’s future.
The convention is scheduled to take place from November 29 to December 3, 2024.
