The crisis within the Enugu State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has intensified following recent court proceedings and factional disputes.

Acting Chairman Nwafor Alphonsus Onyeachonam has issued a stern warning to Barr Ugochukwu Agballah and his supporters, emphasizing that a court order remains in effect barring Agballah and others from acting as party executives.

Onyeachonam’s leadership has criticized Agballah’s actions and reiterated their commitment to participating in the 2024 local government elections. They also urged the presidency to disregard Agballah’s claims and reaffirmed their support for President Bola Tinubu and APC National Chairman Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje.
