Senator Ishaku Abbo has strongly denied any involvement in a viral sex video that has surfaced online.
He has labeled the allegations as a political smear campaign orchestrated by his rivals. Abbo claims the video, which shows a man in a sexual encounter with a woman, is not of him, arguing that it is impossible to identify him from the video given the lack of clear visuals of his face and body.
He also responded to claims from a woman who alleged that he used the video to blackmail her, rejecting these accusations.
Abbo, who was removed from the Senate by an Appeal Court in October 2023, previously faced controversy when he was accused of assaulting a breastfeeding mother in a sex toy shop in Abuja.
