NDLEA arrest a lady on sanitary pads, hair cream container with drugs in Lagos heading to united kingdom.

On September 9, 2024, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) reported significant drug seizures in Lagos and various other locations across Nigeria.

The agency intercepted consignments of cocaine and pharmaceutical opioids hidden in sanitary pads and hair cream containers, destined for the UK, Ireland, and Cyprus.

Additionally, large quantities of tramadol and cannabis were seized in multiple states, including Ekiti, Kaduna, Jigawa, Kogi, Borno, and Kano.

The NDLEA’s operations also resulted in numerous arrests and the destruction of extensive cannabis farms.
