Olubadan promote six traditional chiefs within balogun line, says they’re call to increase service advancement in Ibadanland.

In a recent ceremony held at the Olubadan palace in Ibadan, Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin promoted six traditional chiefs within the Balogun line.

He urged the newly promoted chiefs to view their new roles as a call to increased service and dedication to the advancement of Ibadanland. The promoted chiefs include Chief Wasiu Delodun Adegboyega Ajimobi, Chief Mikail Gboyega Olawoyin Orogunmodi, Chief Taofeek Ayoade, Chief Lateef Adetokunbo Akintola, Chief Nureni Adebayo Akanbi, and Chief Kayode Afolabi Kadelu.

The ceremony was attended by members of the Olubadan-in-Council and featured the traditional decoration of the chiefs with Akoko leaves by the Oluwo of Ibadanland, Chief Wahab Popoola Labosinde.
