The Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Oluwaseyi Makinde, will commission ultra-modern classroom blocks on Saturday, October 5, in celebration of World Teachers’ Day. This initiative highlights the state’s commitment to improving educational infrastructure.
Alh. Raji Oladimeji Ismail, the state chairman of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), made this announcement during the finals of the second edition of the NUT quiz competition among public secondary schools. He emphasized that the commissioning of the classroom facilities is part of the achievements of Governor Makinde’s administration.
Alh. Ismail praised the governor’s dedication to education and the welfare of teachers, assuring that NUT in Oyo State will continue to collaborate with the government to enhance the quality of education for children.
