Reps Idem Empowers Akwa Ibom Youth in Federal Agencies

Hon. Unyime Idem, Chairman of the House Committee on Public Procurement, is actively fulfilling his campaign promise to empower the youth of Akwa Ibom State within federal agencies.

In a recent post on his Facebook page, he shared the privilege of presenting an employment letter to Ettete Itoro Uko, newly appointed as an Environmental Health Officer at the National Commission for Mass Literacy, Adult and Non-formal Education. This initiative underscores his commitment to enhancing youth representation in federal roles.

During the handover, Hon. Idem congratulated Itoro, urging her to be a proud ambassador for Akwa Ibom. He emphasized his dedication to creating more job opportunities for the youth in federal ministries and agencies.

Looking ahead, he expressed optimism that in the next 10 to 15 years, more Akwa Ibomites will occupy prominent positions in the federal government, thereby strengthening the state’s influence and attracting more federal projects and resources.

In response, Itoro conveyed her gratitude and commitment to representing Akwa Ibom with integrity and excellence in her new role.
