Controversial crossdresser Okuneye Idris, popularly known as Bobrisky, is currently detained at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) in Lagos after being arrested by the Nigeria Immigration Service at the Seme border while attempting to leave the country.
According to reports, he was transferred to the FCID for safekeeping following his arrest on Sunday. FCID spokesperson Mayegun Aminat confirmed his detention, stating that they are awaiting further instructions regarding his case. The Nigeria Immigration Service described Bobrisky as a “person of interest” amid ongoing public concerns and stated that he is undergoing interrogation before being handed over to the appropriate authorities.
