Russian President Vladimir Putin has dismissed the possibility of a third world war, urging against fear-mongering in the face of escalating global tensions. Speaking with journalist Pavel Zarubin, Putin emphasized the need for balance and reason in addressing current international conflicts.
“There’s no need to scare anyone,” Putin said, addressing concerns over the growing risks of global conflict. He acknowledged the increasing dangers, but pointed the finger at Russia’s adversaries, accusing them of deliberately heightening tensions.
“If that’s what they want, let them escalate further,” Putin added. “We will always respond to any challenge.”
