American president elect, Donald Trump debunk claims to hand over to Elon Musk in 2028.

In a recent statement, United States President-elect Donald Trump dismissed the idea that Elon Musk could succeed him as president. Trump’s comments came shortly after President Joe Biden signed a funding bill into law to avert a government shutdown, a move that had drawn criticism from both Trump and Musk.

Musk, who has been an influential figure in political discussions, had voiced support for Trump in the past, even contributing significant funds to a Political Action Committee backing him. However, Trump firmly rejected the notion of Musk taking over the presidency, pointing out that Musk is not eligible for the role since he was not born in the U.S., a key constitutional requirement for the presidency. Trump referred to the speculation about Musk’s potential candidacy as a “hoax,” criticizing political opponents for pushing the narrative.
