Jesutega Onokpasa, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, has strongly criticized the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, rating it as a failure.

In an interview with Channels Television, Onokpasa described Tinubu’s government as a “huge disappointment” and claimed that it has worsened the situation of Nigerians, particularly the poor.

Onokpasa, a Catholic, expressed his dissatisfaction with the administration’s performance, especially in food production, which he believes is leading to widespread hunger and poverty in the country.

He lamented that many Nigerians are suffering and dying daily due to food insufficiency, a crisis he attributes to the current government’s policies. He also expressed regret that, as an individual who once supported the APC, he feels disillusioned by the lack of progress.

Onokpasa further apologized to the families of those who have lost loved ones in recent stampedes across the country. He argued that if the administration had been able to provide sufficient food, such tragic incidents could have been avoided.
