… Says harsh, anti-people policies killing poor Nigerians

The Kano State Chairman of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Hashimu Suleiman Dungurawa, has issued a strong warning to President Bola Tinubu regarding his governance approach, particularly accusing the president of implementing harsh, anti-people policies.
Dungurawa stated that these policies could lead to Tinubu’s defeat in the upcoming 2027 general elections unless changes are made. He emphasized that Nigerians, disillusioned by the current policies, are likely to support the NNPP in the elections.
Dungurawa expressed confidence in his party’s success, stating that NNPP is well-organized, with established structures across the country. He also highlighted the success of their governance in Kano, especially under the leadership of Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, who is described as a “true democrat” and is viewed as a potential presidential candidate for 2027.
Dungurawa also addressed rumors about Kwankwaso’s potential defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC), dismissing them as unfounded. Additionally, he warned about the alleged efforts by the federal government to create a one-party system and urged the government to focus on policies that ease the suffering of Nigerians.
