John Mahama sworn in as Ghana new president.

John Mahama has been sworn in as Ghana’s new president after winning the 2024 presidential election.

The former president, who served from 2011 to 2017, was declared the winner on December 8th, defeating Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia.

The inauguration ceremony, attended by various world leaders, is being held in Accra, Ghana’s capital.

Notably, Nigerian President Bola Tinubu traveled to Ghana to attend the event, highlighting the significance of Mahama’s return to power through re-election.
