Tinubu is destined for an eight-year tenure, until 2031-Joe Igbokwe.

By Divine Sam

Joe Igbokwe, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has asserted that President Bola Tinubu will remain in power until 2031.

In a Facebook post, Igbokwe advised any potential presidential candidates to abandon their ambitions for the 2027 election, claiming that Tinubu needs a second term to “set the records straight.”

This statement follows speculation that Peter Obi of the Labour Party and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) may attempt to unseat Tinubu in 2027. Igbokwe’s remarks emphasize his belief that Tinubu is destined for an eight-year tenure, lasting until 2031.
