A 23-year-old salesgirl, Bukola Adeoye, was arraigned in a Badagry Chief Magistrates’ Court for allegedly stealing N2.1 million from her employer, Zannu Thomas. Adeoye, who is accused of taking N968,200 in cash and N1,174,800 from sales over a week, pleaded not guilty.
The offense occurred on December 20, 2024, at Mosafejo, Badagry. The charge against her violates Section 287 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State.
The court granted her bail of N500,000 with two sureties, and the case was adjourned to February 11 for further proceedings.
