In a recent response to Peter Obi’s allegations, Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has strongly denied claims that Felix Morka, the party’s spokesperson, threatened Obi’s life.

Obi had accused Morka of issuing threats following his criticism of President Bola Tinubu’s administration, which he claimed led to threats against him and his family.

Ganduje described Obi’s statements as “mischief” and falsehoods, asserting that Morka’s comments were merely part of his duty to hold the opposition accountable and were not intended as threats.

Ganduje further accused Obi of libel, saying that his false claims had incited threats against Morka and his family from Obi’s supporters.

He emphasized that public figures like Obi should provide truthful information and accept criticism as part of the democratic process.

The APC chairman also stressed the importance of free speech and vowed that the party would continue to counter any baseless allegations with facts related to the Tinubu administration.
