The Borno State government has raised serious concerns about the rising issue of prostitution among former Boko Haram captives.
Many of the freed victims, particularly those from areas like Bama, Banki, and Gwoza, are vulnerable to sexual exploitation due to the trauma and lack of resources they face after captivity. This situation is exacerbated by poverty and limited survival options.
The government emphasizes the urgent need for support and reintegration programs to address these challenges.
