The All Progressives Congress (APC) is working towards unity within its Federal Capital Territory (FCT) chapter, following the resolution of internal conflicts.
The National Vice Chairman (North), Muazu Rijau, officially inaugurated a new State Working Committee (SWC) to ensure the party can work together to deliver results, particularly ahead of the 2026 FCT council elections and the 2027 presidential election.
Yakubu Mohamed, the Zonal Secretary of APC North Central, emphasized that past issues have been resolved and that the party is now united, focusing on a fresh start with a clear leadership structure in place. They also assured that the APC would make significant progress in the FCT, particularly promising to deliver the region for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 election.
This reconciliation seems to be part of the broader APC effort to strengthen its hold on key regions ahead of upcoming elections. Do you think this unity will translate into tangible success in future elections for the party, especially in the FCT?
