The Rivers State Government has alleged that the State House of Assembly is obstructing Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s efforts to fully implement a recent Supreme Court ruling.
Speaking at a press conference in Port Harcourt on Monday, the state’s Commissioner for Information, Joseph Johnson, asserted that despite the court’s verdict not favoring the governor, Fubara remains committed to enforcing the ruling. However, he claimed that the Assembly’s actions have made this process difficult.
