Members of the RCCG have joined other Nigerians to express their displeasure over the rate of insecurity in the country – Pastor Adeboye led the members on a prayer walk, seeking God’s intervention – All parishes of the church across the country have been enjoined to march around their immediate environment, as they pray for God to intervene The alarming rate of insecurity in Nigeria has been a source of concern for many. As Nigerians continue to wait for a solution, popular clergyman Pastor Enoch Adeboye has joined Nigerians to call the government’s attention to the situation. Adeboye, who is the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), joined the members of his church in a prayer walk against insecurity in Nigeria.
He was donned in a green suit, which is the colour of the Nigerian flag. He had a placard with the inscription, “All souls are precious to God”.
The cleric had directed his church members to participate in the prayer walk declared by the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) to address the spate of killings across Nigeria. No fewer than 25,000 parishes of the church are expected to carry out this prayer walk nationwide. The church is matching on and the gate of hell shall not prevail against it.
