Police Arrests Trader Caught Eating Human Excreta With Bread

A trader caught eating human excreta with bread was on Saturday rescued from an irate mob who wanted to lynch him.
It was gathered that the trader, identified as Emmnauel Egbu, was caught with the weird combination of human excreta and bread at the Sango area of Ibadan.
Eyewitnesses told an online newspaper, The Whistler that Egbu was suspected of engaging in money ritual because some youths involved in cyberheist and money rituals engage in weird practices like that or sleeping in cemeteries.
The discovery was said to have caused hundreds of residents of Ibadan to troop to the area to watch the man.
Some of the residents who were shocked and angry at the man for allegedly doing the unthinkable thing accused him of trying to do ritual to make money.
He was lucky to have survived the attack as some persons were said to have rescued him and taken him to the Sango Police Station to shield him from the angry residents.
The Police Public Relations Officers , Mr Olugbenga Fadeyi, when contacted confirmed the incident .
He said the case was already being investigated.
The PPRO said, “The DPO informed the command that a man was caught and brought to the station. The DPO said the man was accused of eating excreta with bread.
“The man is in our custody and investigation is ongoing. Samples of.what was found on him will be taken for laboratory test and the case will be investigated to unravel what actually happened.”[OT]
