Ayegun Oleyo community in oluyole local government area of oyo state has lauded the effective representation of the senator representing Oyo central senatorial District in the red chambers of the national assembly Sen. Dr. Akintunde Yunus Abiodun for his leadership by example administration towards ensuring the approval and commencement construction of a 17 kilometer road linking Ayegun oleyo community in Ibadan to Abeokuta in ogun state.
the Baale of Ayegun oleyo community Alhaji chief Kabiru Olajide on behalf of the community offically thanks the lawmaker for his humanitarian representation that has attracted dividends of democracy to Ayegun community. He said the road was a major problem to the residence as business could strive to engage community development and lots of progressive activities that could attract development to the community.
Independent Watch News has earlier reported the deplorable nature of the road, the flooding and erosion aspect that has fhindered many businesses in the area and causing movement uncomfortable to the residents.
the construction of the 17 kilometers which is ongoing Baale Kabiru commended senator Yunus, for making necessary supports available for the road project to be approved by the federal government and it commencement.
The monarch also showed his gratitude on behalf of the entire community to the Federal Government through the representation of Senator Abiodun to ward contract for the dualization of the community deplorable road 
while speaking with journalists the Baale expressed delight on what he called the magnanimity of Senator Yonus bringing back dividends of democracy to manifest his campaign promises.
He said: “We appreciate our dear senator for doing this for us, it will be on the community record that this road was constructed during his time to alleviate the suffering of the residence of Ayegun oleyo community, it used to be a terrible network of roads within this community, very soon the suffering will come to an end, we will experience the crisscross of tarred roads that will contribute to the development of our area.”
“The big gullies that used to cut off the roads and claim lives during flooding will within shortest period become history, we are grateful to Senate Akintunde Yunus Abiodun for this kind of love showered on the good people of oleyo community.
Baale Kabiru in his words, prayed for senator Yonus who is the chairman Senate committee on environment for deeming it fit to show good leadership traits to the people of Ayegun oleyo Community.
He said the community will also benefit from its closeness to various routes connecting to area which will make residents enjoy less travel time and stress of bad road, saying that the gesture has reestablished their belief in good governance.
