Joe Igbokwe, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), recently expressed his frustration with the rising cost of food in Nigeria, particularly highlighting that a bag of rice has skyrocketed to over N100,000.
In a Facebook post, he lamented the dire economic situation and stated that the individuals who will ultimately rescue Nigeria from its self-inflicted hardships have not yet been born.
This statement follows his previous criticisms of certain policies under President Bola Tinubu’s administration, showcasing a growing discontent even among party supporters regarding the current economic climate.
