The Edo State House of Assembly has passed a revised supplementary budget of N485 billion for the administration of Governor Monday Okpebholo.
This budget includes N283.087 billion for capital expenditure and N202.54 billion for recurrent expenditures. The approval was made during a plenary session on Monday, where Dr. Cyril Oshiomhole was also confirmed as the state’s Commissioner for Health.
The revised budget is N36 billion higher than the N450 billion supplementary budget approved for the previous administration under Governor Godwin Obaseki.
This new budget will support ongoing development projects in the state, according to Speaker Blessing Agbebaku.
