A delegation from Niger State, led by Special Adviser on Social Investment Programmes Hauwa Bako, recently visited Soilless Farm Labs in Ogun State to explore innovative agricultural practices. The visit aimed to enhance Niger State’s agricultural policies and establish it as a leading agricultural hub in Nigeria.
During their visit, the team reviewed advanced farming technologies, met with trainees, and engaged with partners of the Enterprise for Youth in Agriculture.
The delegation also consulted with former President Olusegun Obasanjo, who praised Governor Mohammed Umar Bago’s agricultural initiatives and encouraged other states to follow Niger State’s example in boosting food security and agricultural development. The team included commissioners from Agriculture, Environment, Power and Energy, MSME, and special advisers on related areas.
