The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has launched the 7th phase of its constituency and executive projects tracking initiative, which involves monitoring 1,500 projects worth a total of N610 billion.

This exercise, which began on November 18, 2024, will span 21 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), covering various sectors such as education, health, agriculture, water resources, and power.

The ICPC’s goal is to ensure that government funds allocated to these sectors are used effectively and in compliance with the contract terms.

This phase also includes projects managed by government agencies and intervention bodies like the NEDC, NDDC, UBEC, and TETFUND. By tracking these projects, the ICPC aims to enhance transparency, accountability, and the value derived from public investments.
