The Lagos State Government has announced a traffic diversion plan for the reconstruction of the Lagos-Badagry Carriageway, effective from August 26, 2024, to January 31, 2025.
The first phase, affecting Durbar Junction to Badagry Bound, will run from August 26 to September 30, 2024. Motorists are advised to use alternative routes:
- For repairs on the toll lane: Traffic will be diverted to the service lane 100 meters away from the repair site and can rejoin the toll lane 100 meters from Durbar Junction.
- For repairs on the service lane: Traffic will shift to the toll lane 100 meters away from the repair site and can return to the service lane 100 meters from Durbar Junction.
These measures aim to minimize inconvenience during the construction period.
