NNPC Limited has announced new petrol prices following the loading of petrol from Dangote Refinery. In Lagos, the price will be N950 per litre, up from N855; in Abuja, it will be N992.22 per litre, increased from N897; and in Borno, it will be N1,019.22 per litre.
The corporation stated that it paid Dangote Refinery N898 per litre for the petrol and emphasized that pricing is determined through negotiations between parties, not by government mandate.
NNPC also noted that payments to Dangote Refinery are currently made in USD and that any disputes over pricing could lead to a discount passed on to consumers.
