President Bola Tinubu has postponed the scheduled 2025 national budget presentation to the National Assembly. Originally set for Tuesday, the presentation will now take place on Wednesday, December 18, 2024.
The reason for the postponement has not been disclosed yet, but sources within the National Assembly confirmed the new date, emphasizing that the presentation would proceed as planned on Wednesday. An official statement regarding the shift is expected to be released shortly.
The 2025 budget is valued at N47.9 trillion and is a significant element in the country’s fiscal planning for the year ahead.
