Ahead of the Bauchi local government council elections on August 17, 2024, the State Police Command has implemented strict security measures, including a restriction on vehicular movement from 7 am to 4 pm.
This measure is aimed at ensuring public safety at the 5,013 polling units across the state. Essential services such as medical personnel, journalists, and emergency responders are exempt from this restriction.
