A Young Boy, 15-year-old, identified as Mason Sisk who wiped out his entire family, Dad, Mom, 3 younger siblings after finding out that his mom was not his biological mother but a step mother has not shown any sign of regret for his heinous actions, according to his probation officer.
Tara Pressnell, the Limestone County chief juvenile probation officer said: “Mason does not seem bothered by the fact that he is accused of murdering his family. He has not shown any sign of remorse. While in detention, he has not talked about his family at all.”
Mason Sisk’s details of alleged lack of remorse emerged earlier this week after being charged as an adult with five counts of capital murder.
He is said to have carried out the shootings shortly after discovering that his mom was not his biological mother, although investigators have not yet confirmed a motive.
The teenager allegedly killed his dad John Sisk, 38, stepmother Mary Sisk, 35, half-brother Grayson, 6, half-sister Aurora, 5, and 6-month-old half-brother Colson at their home in Elkmont.
Juvenile Judge Matthew Huggins said last week that there were “no reasonable grounds” to suggest the boy was mentally ill and ordered him held at Limestone County Jail.
According to reports, just two months after his family was killed, mason interacted well with others at Tennessee Valley Juvenile Detention Center in Tuscumbia last November, completed his school work.
Sisk is initially alleged to have blamed the shootings on someone else but confessed that he was behind it during initial questioning.
His stepmom Mary was a well-liked teacher at Mountain Gap Middle School, with Sisk’s dad John a cosmetologist who was also popular with friends and co-workers.
